PARENTS - WE NEED YOUR HELP! 
We are looking for beach items to borrow for our Beach Blast decorations.  We could use boogie boards, beach balls, sand toys, colorful, bright generic beach towels (none with characters or logos on them), and anything else that would be “beach appropriate”.  Please label everything with your name and send them to choir no later than Tuesday, May 26.  You can take them home right after the performance.  If you have any questions you may call Missy Iley at 972-317-3129.
NEWS ITEMS!! 
MOVIE NIGHT - AND IT'S FREE!
Briarhill Choir students are invited to come to the school from 7:00-10:00pm on Friday, May 22 for pizza, munchies, movie, karaoke, and much more!  Best of all, it's FREE!  The only thing we request you bring is a 6-pack or liter bottle of your favorite soft drink.  Parents - we could use some chaperones.  If you are interested, please email Jenn Griffin at vpres@briarhillchoir.com

SPRING CONCERT - REVISED SCHEDULE!
Our Briarhill Choir spring concert - Beach Blast - will be on Thursday, May 28.  Seating will begin at 6:30pm.  The concert will start at 7:15pm.  Tickets are on sale NOW!  Tickets cost $5 and will include the concert and food!

ATTENTION CURRENT 8TH GRADE CHOIR STUDENTS & PARENTS

NOMINEES FOR 2009-2010 EXECUTIVE BOARD
The nominating committee (Moise Nacier, Mary Halliburton, Lee Scoggins, Kelly Nesbitt & Karen Harris) met tonight and has submitted a proposed slate of officers for the 2009-2010 school year.  Final elections for these positions will be held at the next Booster Club general meeting.  The nominees are:
President - Missy Iley
Vice President - Mary Halliburton
Treasurer - Jennifer Griffin
Secretary - Lee Scoggins
Member At Large - Tim Antolovic

The next general meeting will be held on Friday, May 29, immediately before the Spring Concert.  Exact time TBA.

CONGRATULATIONS VARSITY AND CONCERT CHOIRS!
Our Concert and Varsity Choirs recently participated in the UIL Concert and Sight-reading Contest.  Both of our Briarhill Choirs came away will ALL "1"s and took SWEEPSTAKES in the competition!!!!  This is an awesome accomplishment!!!

We are trying to "go green" this year, so our 2008-2009 Briarhill Choir Handbook is available to view and download ONLY ON THIS WEBSITE!!  There are REQUIRED forms in this Handbook that must be signed and turned in to Mrs. McGinnis.  So please be sure to download and print your copy.

BMS Choir WISH LIST 
It's Spring!  And, with that, we have additional needs for our BMS Choir classroom.  Please take a look at Mrs. McGinnis' "wish list" and see if you can help by providing one of the items below.  (Just send an email to mcginnisd@lisd.net and let her know what item you will provide.)
